Education
CFP® professionals never stop learning. Tim has even gone on to earn the additional designation of Certified Kingdom Advisor®.
Exam
CFP® professionals must complete the CFP® exam in order to earn the credential, testing their ability to apply financial planning knowledge to real-world scenarios.
Experience
CFP® professionals are required to have 2 years of financial experience before receiving their designation. Tim has been in the industry for over 20.
Ethics
Every CFP® professional must adhere to the code of ethics set by the CFP® Board in order to maintain the designation.

Meet Tim
Tim has over 20 years of financial experience with some of the nation’s largest firms, including Prudential Securities, JPMorgan Chase, and New England Financial. He is a Certified Financial Planner®, which is one of the most respected credentials in the industry, and a Certified Kingdom Advisor®, having been trained in biblically-responsible financial principles. Tim believes that finances offer one of the greatest opportunities for faithfulness. It’s one of the reasons he opted to leave a larger firm and start Cornerstone Financial Advisory: a personalized, client-focused firm. He believes that his clients’ deepest-held values, including their faith, can be the foundation of their financial plan.
Outside of his work at Cornerstone, Tim and his wife Erin enjoy being active with their four adult children. They are members of Fortville Christian Church in Fortville, IN, where Tim is also an elder.
