Tim has had the opportunity to work for some of the world’s largest financial institutions. He elected to use his experience and knowledge to better serve his clients by founding Cornerstone Financial Advisory, LLC, a smaller client focused firm. “I wanted to feel that I was working for the client, as opposed to the corporation”, Tim said. He believes that building a financial plan or investment portfolio begins with listening to the client. He starts with finding their values, life’s station, risk tolerance, and goals to craft a solution based upon their specific situation. Being an independent financial advisor puts Tim in a position to operate on the premise that unbiased opinions and a wide variety of nonproprietary solutions are in the best interest of the client. Tim said, “This allows me to really work at my passion of helping people reach their goals and even consider how their values can be at the foundation of their plans.”
He is a regular contributor to articles, blog posts, and a frequent public speaker on different topics related to financial planning.
Tim enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. They have two boys and two girls who, according to Tim, “all have extraordinary talent”.
Tim currently serves as an Elder in their local church and, although challenging, finds it rewarding to see other’s spiritual growth. He has enjoyed, at different times of the last several years, coaching his children’s basketball, baseball, or soccer teams. Tim loves the beauty of the Caribbean and has found an opportunity to serve a community in the Dominican Republic by visiting and supporting a pastor, who is a D.R. national. This pastor and his family feed seventy kids a day from their home.

Duke joined Cornerstone Financial Advisory, LLC in 2016 as Financial advisor. Duke has been a financial advisor for almost a decade and brings his knowledge and experience to each interaction. He is dedicated to developing long-term relationships with my clients and maintaining the highest level of integrity and professionalism. Duke is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a degree in marketing. Duke and his family moved to Indianapolis in the early 1990s to partner with SCM Real Estate Development, the developer of high profile neighborhoods on the north side of Indianapolis. Duke has been active in the local community for nearly 25 years and is currently a board member of the Heroes Club of Carmel.
In his spare time, Duke enjoys golf and fitness. Duke and his wife, Kathryn, live in Carmel with their five children, Mackenzie, Tom, Sam, Maryann, and Tony.
